I would like to say that my Father was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was known and loved by all who knew him. He was a Vietnam Veteran. A true hero to his country and his family. He is pictured with a rehabbed kestrel that flew down from the nest tree and landed on his head.
When I think about the special moments shared with my father, it always takes me to some place fishing. He loved to fish, and so does both of his daughters. I can just remember when I caught the "Big One", it so happened to be my fathers truck. My dad just shook his head and laughed. That day fishing at the pond in Illinois, my niece and father were competing on who would catch the smallest fish. My father won that one, it was the smallest bluegill I have ever seen.
I will miss you so much. I will miss your smile and sense of humor. Love your loving Wife, Daughters, and Friends.
Jo Gilley was born in Oregon and lived most of her life in western Washington. Jo was a techie for Boeing and truly enjoyed birding, she especially liked raptors and said she's planning on coming back as a redtail hawk. She was only 52 when she passed away from cancer. She is truly missed and loved. Keep an eye overhead, she might be watching you! With love always Dave Templeton.
Thank you Dave Templeton for the generous donation of a Nikon D200.
